Engility is proud to continue the legacy DRC offerings that our customers have enjoyed since 1995. DRC was acquired by Engility in 2014.

Engility offers VME format host adapter "carrier" circuit cards for the DoD’s Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing (SAASM) GPS receivers such as the Rockwell Collins GEM V and GEM VI, and the Trimble Force 524D military-qualified 24-satellite channel GPS SAASM receivers. These circuit cards provide robust encrypted GPS solutions suitable for a wide variety of applications including navigation and hot-starting Precision Guided Munitions.

Engility’s VME-based GPS circuit cards can be used with either the DoD's SEM-E GRAM or the smaller GB-GRAM SAASM GPS receivers. The host adapter circuit cards provide transparent access to the SAASM GPS real-time data through the VME data bus, Ethernet, or serial channels. Our GPS circuit cards can also host customer designed logic in the on-board FPGA, or execute a customer driven software applications in either the embedded PowerPC or dual ARM processor(s).

VME-GPS-CCA - Convection Cooled

The Convection Cooled VME GPS CCA functions as a VME host adapter carrier for military-qualified 24-satellite channel GPS SAASM receivers. The VME GPS CCA provides transparent access for VME single-board computers to the real-time GPS messages stored in the receiver’s dual-port RAM. The VME GPS board is a drop-in replacement for Engility’s previous version, the VME GEM.

VME-GPS-CCA - Conduction Cooled

The Conduction Cooled VME GPS CCA functions as a VME host adapter carrier for both the Rockwell Collins GEM V and GEM VI, and the Trimble Force 524D military-qualified 24-satellite channel GPS SAASM receivers. The VME GPS CCA provides transparent access for VME single-board computers to the real-time GPS messages stored in the receiver’s dual-port RAM. The VME GPS board is a drop-in replacement for Engility’s previous version, the VME GEM.

VME-GBGRAM-CCA - Convection Cooled

This Convection Cooled VME GBGRAM CCA functions as a VME host adapter carrier the military-qualified 12-satellite channel GBGRAM SAASM receiver available from several manufactures. The VME GBGRAM CCA provides transparent access for VME single-board computers to the real-time GPS messages stored in the receiver’s dual-port RAM.

VME-GEM CCA - Convection Cooled

Engility has integrated leading-edge military GPS Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module (SAASM) receivers to create a single slot, 6U, VME bus product—the VME-GEM. This integrated product offers the GPS community a fully qualified GPS receiver with a VME interface.

STIP PC App

The Serial Test Interface Program (STIP) is a Windows-based software application for use with Engility’s VME GPS CCA products. It provides the capability to test and monitor GPS receivers by way of either a RS232 or RS422 serial interface between the VME GPS CCA and a PC (or laptop computer).

ETIP PC App

The Ethernet Test Interface Program (ETIP) is a Windows-based software application for use with Engility’s VME GPS CCA and VME GB-GRAM CCA products. It provides the capability to test and monitor GPS receivers by way of either an Ethernet connection between the VME GPS CCA and a PC (or laptop computer).

VME BreakOut Board

The VME-VGBB from Engility provides easy access to all interfaces on the VME GPS line of circuit cards. It brings all of the VME P2 connector interfaces of our VME GPS CCAs either to the front panel of the VME-VGBB or to the face of the VGBB Long-life lithium batteries can be installed into the VGBB to provide auxiliary power to the GPS Receiver to maintain crypto variables within the receiver while main power is off.
