Dr. Lawrence Delaney - Chairman of the Board of Directors
Dr. Delaney serves as chairman of the Engility board of directors. His distinguished government career equips him with critical insight into military engineering and systems acquisition requirements. Dr. Delaney served as the Acting Secretary of the U.S. Air Force, the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, as well as the Air Force's Service Acquisition Executive - responsible for all Air Force research, development, and acquisition activities. He provided direction, guidance, and supervision of all matters pertaining to the formulation, review, approval, and execution of acquisition plans, policies, and programs.
Stephen R. Robinson President & CEO
Stephen R. Robinson is the President of Engility Corporation, a large business and industry leader providing high quality program management and system acquisition support services to agencies involved in acquiring and sustaining systems for our Nation’s security and prosperity. He comes to Engility from a very successful role as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Global Security and Engineering Solutions (GS&ES), Operations & Special Support Business Unit. He also acted as Vice President at SENCOM, Inc. prior to its acquisition by Titan Corporation.
Mr. Robinson served 30 years in the US Air Force as Assistant Program Director, Intelligence and C3CM Systems, Hanscom AFB, MA; Commander, Special Activities Intelligence Organization, USAFE; Director of Collection and Systems Integration, United States Force - Korea (USFK); Combined Forces Command (CFC), and various USAF Line and Staff Positions until his retirement at the grade of Colonel. Mr. Robinson received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Babson College and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas.
Michael J. Carney Executive Vice President & Ethics Officer
Michael J. Carney is the Executive Vice President & Ethics Officer of Engility Corporation. He comes to Engility from a very successful role as the Acting General Manager for the Operations and Special Support (OSS) Business Unit having played a key role in the strategic realignment of the division.
Mr. Carney also served as the Deputy General Manager for the Operations and Special Support Business Unit, with annual revenue in excess of $125M with over 680 employees assigned. Mr. Carney brings to these positions extensive experience in managing and leading many complex and diverse organizations. In particular, he has vast experience in the Department of Defense C4ISR operations, requirements generation, acquisition, budgeting and training processes.
Mr. Carney joined the Titan Corporation in February 2005 as a member of the OSS senior management team. Mr. Carney has previously held the position of Director, Advanced Transportation Research and Engineering Department. As the ATR&E Director, he greatly expanded the company’s role in the Next Generation Air Traffic Management programs especially in the areas of basic research and program execution.
During his 25 year military career, Mr. Carney held extensive and wide-ranging senior level leadership and strategic planning positions in operations; intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance; maintenance; budget development and acquisition programs. Mr. Carney received a Bachelors Degree in Communications from the University of Portland and a Masters Degree in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Carney has one daughter.
Paul F. Sateriale Vice President/Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Paul F. Sateriale is the Vice President/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Engility Corporation. Mr. Sateriale has over 20 years of accounting experience driving efficiency and productivity through the entire financial management system and the implementation of process improvements. In his role with Engility, Mr. Sateriale is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, revenue, billing and payroll. He comes to Engility from his very successful role as Vice President/Controller for the Global Security & Engineering Services (GS&ES) Division of L-3 Communications. At GS&ES, he improved the closing schedule and financial statement accuracy by implementing consistent accounting policies, standards and deadlines; he was also responsible for reducing days sales outstanding (DSO), which had a direct, positive impact on the financial goals of the division. Previously, he was a Division Controller with Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) where he prepared financial analysis and reports. One of his major accomplishments while at ACS was implementing and managing an enterprise management system for more efficient reporting. Before that, Mr. Sateriale held accounting positions with General Cinema Corporation and KPMG.
Mr. Sateriale is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and received a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Suffolk University.
John Sleight Vice President of Business Development
John Sleight is the Vice President of Business Development of Engility Corporation. Mr. Sleight entered the defense industry after a career in the Air Force that spanned over 30 years. He held numerous senior officer leadership positions in operations, logistics and training throughout the U.S. and abroad. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from the University of Nebraska and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan University. Mr. Sleight and his wife Marrianne have five children.
Michael Botan Vice President of Business Operations
Michael M. Botan is Engility’s Vice President of Business Operations and has held this role since mid 2008. Mike manages Engility’s day to day Business Operations, directing and coordinating activities and implementing programs to ensure attainment of Engility’s business operations plan. He also provides direction and structure while promoting process improvement methods to generate workflow optimization and higher returns on investment.
Mike’s previous role was as Vice President, Contracts and Purchasing where he led a staff of 35 and was responsible for a portfolio of over $600 million in contracts. While working in a Contracts role, Mike garnered over 25 years of domestic and international Government and commercial contracting and purchasing experience, managing hundreds of contracts and subcontracts with a value of over $5 billion.
Mike has also been responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of Engility’s ISO 9001:2008 registration throughout the Business Operations function. Under Mike’s leadership, utilizing Engility’s ISO quality management system and implementing continuous improvement is a cornerstone of Engility’s business operations practices.
Prior to joining Engility, Mike worked with large system defense suppliers such as Lockheed Martin and Sanders Associates on a wide range of systems, from radar to test equipment and from missiles to sigint/elint.
Mike received his Bachelors degree from Northeastern University and a Juris Doctor from Massachusetts School of Law. He is also an instrument rated commercial pilot.
Diane Rega Vice President of Human Resources
Diane comes to Engility from her prior role as the VP, Human Resources for the Technical & Management Services Division, of L-3 Titan. Previously, she was the Director, Human Resources and the Human Resources Manager with the legacy entities acquired by L-3 Communications and Titan Corporation, respectively. She is a senior HR leader with proven results leading organizations through acquisitions, growth, changes and reorganizations. She has extensive experience integrating different organizational cultures, policies and practices into one cohesive program. She has strong abilities to effectively address the issues and concerns of a diverse workforce located in multiple sites, both domestic and international.
Diane has over 20 years of experience directing all aspects of HR policies, objectives and initiatives including employment, counseling, compensation, staffing, orientation and training, benefits, employee services, and affirmative action. Ms. Rega holds a BS in Business Studies from Southern New Hampshire University and an MBA from Western New England College. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Diane received her professional HR certification through the HR Certification Institute, an affiliate of SHRM.
