Lynn A. DugleChief Executive Officer
Lynn Dugle is Engility’s Chief Executive Officer and also serves on the company’s board of directors.
Dugle has served as a director on our board since Feb. 26, 2015. She was a director of TASC from October 2014 to February 2015. Dugle joined Raytheon in April 2004, and served as the vice president of Raytheon Company and president of Raytheon IIS until her retirement in March 2015. She became president of the former Intelligence and Information Systems business in January 2009, and was previously its vice president and deputy general manager. Dugle serves as a director and member of the Audit and Technology Committees of State Street Corporation, and as a member of the Defense Science Board.
John P. Hynes, Jr.President and Chief Operating Officer
John Hynes is Engility's president and chief operating officer.
Before being named to this position, Hynes served as EVP and COO of Engility Corporation following Engility’s acquisition of TASC Inc. Prior to this transaction, Hynes was president and chief executive officer of TASC, where he led the company’s 4,000 employees in solving complex national security and public safety challenges with advanced systems engineering, integration, and decision-support services for the intelligence community, the Department of Defense and civilian agencies of the federal government.
Amanda BrownfieldSenior Vice President and Group Leader, Intelligence Solutions Group
Amanda Brownfield serves as senior vice president, Intelligence Solutions Group executive at Engility, which she joined through its TASC Inc. acquisition in 2015.
Brownfield joined TASC in January 2013 to run its National Geospatial Intelligence Agency and Defense Intelligence Agency Business Unit after 15 years with SAIC. In a little less than a year, Brownfield was promoted to senior vice president, adding responsibility for the Central Intelligence Agency, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and, ultimately, the National Security Agency to her portfolio. During her time with both TASC and SAIC, Brownfield served as a leader of small project teams, large program teams and line units with P&L responsibility, serving customers across the defense, law enforcement and intelligence communities. Prior to joining SAIC, she was a captain in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, serving in the elite XVIII Airborne Corps at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. She holds a B.A. in political science from Duke University and an MBA from the George Washington University.
Mark J. BrunoSenior Vice President and Group Leader, Space Systems
Mark Bruno leads the Space Systems account for TASC, an Engility Company, supporting customers that include NASA, the National Reconnaissance Office and Air Force Space.
Bruno led the Space Systems sector at TASC prior to the acquisition by Engility, and now leads a team of more than 1,100 systems engineers, technologists and other experts who provide intelligence customers with high-end systems engineering for space systems, ground systems, communications systems, mission operations, and research and development. Bruno has more than 30 years of experience in systems engineering and program management for the space and intelligence community. During the course of his career, he has successfully led numerous large programs while developing deep experience in space systems engineering, systems development, complex acquisitions and program management. Bruno earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the University of Pittsburgh.
Kirk DyeSenior Vice President and Group Leader, Federal Civilian
Kirk Dye is Engility’s senior vice president of Federal Civilian account.
Before leading the Federal Civilian account, Dye acted as SVP for Human Capital Strategies and previously served as general manager for Engility’s Deployable Communications Group and Technology Services Group. Prior to the Engility spin-off from L-3, he managed the Expeditionary Operations business unit of the Command and Control Systems and Software division. The business unit was responsible for services to the expeditionary community (including the Marine Corps, the Navy and the Coast Guard). Before joining the contracting world in 2007, Dye was a civil servant with the Navy for 25 years, working in increasingly complex leadership roles, with most of his experience at the Coastal Systems Station. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in electrical engineering.
Scott WhatmoughSenior Vice President and Group Leader, Defense Group
Scott Whatmough serves as the senior vice president of Engility’s Defense Group starting in 2017. He leads a team that delivers highly technical solutions and engineering services in support of the Department of Defense.
Whatmough joined Engility after 30 years at Raytheon, where he most recently led a $900-million military electronics systems business. Prior to that, he worked at RCA Government Systems and Sequoia Systems. Whatmough holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Rhode Island. During his tenure at Raytheon, he served on the advisory board at Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s electrical and computer engineering department, and he was the board chairman for MILCOM, the premier international conference for military communications hosted by AFCEA and IEEE.
Seth F. SteinSenior Vice President and Group Leader, Products
Seth Stein has served in leadership roles at Engility and its legacy organizations since 2009.
Previously, he was president and general manager of Trans-Tech Incorporated, a wholly owned subsidiary of Skyworks Solutions. He has also held senior executive positions in sales, operations and quality at BP Solar and Sedco Systems Incorporated (a division of Raytheon). Stein earned a Bachelor of Science in management and marketing from the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University with minor concentrations in economics and statistics. He also completed a 12-month senior executive study program offered through Suffolk University, Babson College and MIT.
Wayne M. RehbergerSenior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Wayne Rehberger is Engility's senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Rehberger is responsible for Engility’s overall financial functions and activities, including financial reporting and accounting, treasury, financial planning and analysis, tax, information technology, and facilities. He also provides leadership within the company’s operating units, including program finance and contracts and supply chain.
Thomas O. MiillerSenior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Tom Miiller is Engility's senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.
Before joining Engility, Miiller served since 2004 as general counsel and senior vice president of L-3 Services Group. Beginning in 1987, he held several legal positions at L-3 and its predecessor companies for more than 13 years. He then became vice president, general counsel and secretary of Allied Aerospace Inc. from 2000 through 2004. Earlier in his career, he served as an attorney with the law firm of Dykema Gossett in Washington, D.C., for eight years. Miiller received a Juris Doctor from the National Law Center at George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Utah.
Michael GrassoSenior Vice President for Business Development and Strategic Planning
Mike Grasso is Engility’s Senior Vice President for Business Development and Strategic Planning.
He most recently served as Vice President, Government Relations, for Lockheed Martin, which he joined in 1981. He also served as Vice President of Business Development for their Information Systems & Global Services Civil Business segment, a $4.2 billion division. Mike has built talented and highly successful business development teams that have supported a range of Federal customers, including NASA, the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, the FBI and Veterans Affairs. He has also forged many industry partnerships and brings a strong business acumen to Engility.
Susan M. BalaguerSenior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
Susan Balaguer is Engility’s Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer.
Balaguer is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, performance development and talent management. She has more than 27 years of experience in human resources and has served in a series of HR leadership roles in the government contracting industry, including her most recent position as Senior Vice President of Human Resources Operations for CACI International, Inc. She has also worked for ASRC Federal, the VT Group and Raytheon Company.
Debra ScheiderSenior Vice President, Contracts
Scheider has 33 years of experience successfully leading and developing high-performing contracting organizations for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) and CIA. While at the NRO, she was responsible for cradle-to-grave implementation and execution of all contracts, led the Acquisition Center of Excellence (ACE) and served as the deputy portfolio manager for the NRO’s $25 billion service contracts. As president of Guidestar Acquisition for the last two years, Debra provided consulting services to clients looking to initiate or improve acquisition outcomes with the federal government. Debra serves on the board of directors for the National Contract Management Association, and she is a director for the Procurement Round Table.
Gay PorterVice President, Technical Solutions Group
Gay Porter serves as vice president of the Technical Solutions Group.
Porter leads a group of senior subject matter experts specializing in our primary capability areas. Her team partners with the Business Groups, bringing the combined technical expertise of the enterprise to support the capture of our most significant business opportunities. Porter also connects our technical workforce via numerous communities of practice, communities of interest and a variety of outreach activities, including technical webinars, the 50-member Technical Fellow program and the Annual Internal Technical Trade Show. Previously, she led the Federal Civilian Health Division and brings over 30 years of experience growing and leading business. She spent over 20 years at CACI, with prior engagements at Booz Allen & Hamilton and General Electric.
Roela SantosVice President, Communications
Roela Santos is Engility’s vice president of communications.
Santos oversees the strategy and execution of Engility’s employee engagement and external communications, including corporate branding, public relations, social media and digital, events and tradeshows, advertising, executive communications, corporate social responsibility and community relations. With over 22 years of experience in integrated communications and marketing, Santos has worked for technology and services companies, including Raytheon Company and CSC. She serves on the Board of Trustees for (ISC)2’s Center for Cyber Safety and Education.
